blocklist domains from personal feeds#131

I’m a RSS user and I imported my OPML to scour. Is there a way to tell whether I have feeds on the blocklist?

There isn’t an official way but I just checked and can confirm that none of yours are. Are you not seeing things show up that you would expect to, or were you just curious?

Thats. I’m checking why a cnbeta feed does not appear and was not sure if it was blocked. Manual add got the following error:

https://rss.cnbeta.com.tw/: Could not find a feed at https://rss.cnbeta.com.tw/

I looked into it more and it turns out that that feed has a slightly broken TLS setup. They’re only sending the leaf certificate without the intermediate certificate that proves it’s trusted. Browsers work around this by fetching the missing certificate automatically, but most non-browser software (including Scour) doesn’t do that.

That said, you can subscribe using the HTTP version of the URL instead: http://rss.cnbeta.com.tw/

I’ve also changed the error message so errors like this in the future will be more specific.
